Bayesian Analysis for Time Series

Microarray Experiments

A user friendly software for Bayesian Analysis of Time Series Microarray Experiments.

Sometimes it can be revealing to analyze the same dataset using different combinations on models (for example Model  1, Model 2, and Model 3) and prior hyper-parameters and then compare the different outputs in order to seek for genes common to all options and those which are selected only under a particular combination.

The Utility Compare Results allows the user to easily obtain such information.

First, the user selects a list of Projects to be compared

Unless specified otherwise, the results on the comparison will be saved on folder Compare. Two files will be created:  _common.xls and _union_xls (.txt format will be returned under Linux and Mac)

The file _common.xls contains the genes which were detected as “differentially expressed” under all combination of models and parameter choices, moreover each “common” gene we report also the rank obtained in each Project.

The file _union.xls contains the genes which were detected as “differentially expressed” in at least one combination of models and parameter choice
