About Us

Claudia Angelini, PhD

Since 2001 Claudia is a permanent researcher at the Istituto per le Applicazioni del Calcolo “M. Picone” (Naples, Italy) and in 2007 she is the coordinator of the research group in “Mathematical and Statistical Models in Genetics and Proteomics” in CNR-Bioinformatics interdepartmental project.   

She has a laurea degree cum laude in Mathematics awarded by University of Naples “Federico II” (1994), post-laurea degree in Advanced Technology for Information and Communication by the IIASS, Vietri S.M.(SA), Italy (1996), PhD degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science (primary area of interest  Statistics) by University of Naples “Federico II” (2002).

She is co-author of several publications in the field of bioinformatics, statistics and wavelets.

Since 2003 she is also contract professor at University of Calabria, (Italy).

 

 

Luisa Cutillo, PhD

Since 2006 Luisa is a  post-Doc researcher at the Telethon Institute of genetics and Medicine.

She has a laurea degree cum laude in Mathematics awarded by the Second University of Naples (2002), PhD degree in Computational Science and Informatics (primary area of interest  Statistics) by University of Naples “Federico II” (2006).  She has been researcher fellow at the Istituto per le Applicazioni del Calcolo “M. Picone” (Naples, Italy)  from 2002 to 2006.

 

 

 

Daniela De Canditiis, PhD

Since 2001 Daniela is a permanent researcher at the Istituto per le Applicazioni del Calcolo “M. Picone” (Rome, Italy)

She has a laurea degree cum laude in Mathematics awarded by University of Naples “Federico II” (1995), PhD degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science (primary area of interest  Statistics) by University of Naples “Federico II” (2001).

She is co-author of several publications in the field of statistics and wavelets

Since 2007 she is member of the research group  “Mathematical and Statistical Models in Genetics and Proteomics”  in CNR-Bioinformatics interdepartmental project.   

 

 

 

Margherita Mutarelli, PhD

Since 2007 Margherita has a post-doctoral   fellowship at the General Pathology Department of the Second University of Naples in the group of Prof. Alessandro Weisz. She has a laurea degree in Environmental Sciences of the University of Bologna and a PhD degree in Computational Biology of the Second University of Naples. Since 2002 she is a member of the Bioinformatics Group in the Institute of Food Sciences (ISA-CNR) and her main research interest is microarray data analysis applied to estrogen effect on breast cancer.

 

 

Marianna Pensky, PhD

Marianna is Professor at Department of Mathematics,  University of Central Florida, Orlando. USA.

She has B.S. in Computer Science at Perm State University, Russia (1979), M.S. in Mathematics at Perm State University, Russia (1981), Ph.D. in Statistics at Moscow State University, Russia (1988).

 

She is author of several publications in the field of statistics.
